Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to your heat preference)
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and hot sauce to create the hot honey glaze.
Brush half of the hot honey glaze evenly over the tops of the chicken breasts.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the dish from the oven. Brush the remaining hot honey glaze over the chicken. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese evenly over the tops of the chicken breasts.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the feta is slightly softened and lightly golden.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
For a crispier finish, you can briefly place the chicken under the broiler for 1-2 minutes at the very end, watching closely to prevent burning.
If you do not have hot sauce, you can use 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes mixed into the honey.
Serve this savory sweet chicken over rice, quinoa, or with roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
