Make these ultra-easy biscuit dough pizza bombs stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella. They are a quick, cheesy, hand-held snack perfect for game day or a simple appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16.3 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your fingers or a rolling pin until it forms a small circle.
  3. Place about 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  4. Top the sauce with a small pinch of mozzarella cheese and one or two pieces of pepperoni.
  5. Bring the edges of the biscuit dough up and over the filling, pinching the seams tightly to seal the dough completely, forming a ball. Place the sealed ball seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Repeat this process until all the dough is used.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the sealed pizza bombs.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use spicy pepperoni or add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
  • If you want a crispier exterior, you can bake these in an air fryer at 350°F for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Serve these as a fantastic party appetizer or a kid friendly pizza snack.
