Prepare this creamy, briny dip that captures the flavor of a dirty martini. It requires no cooking and is ready fast, making it perfect for parties and entertaining.

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup chopped green olives (pitted)
  • 1/2 cup olive brine
  • 2 ounces gin or vodka (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra chopped olives and olive oil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese, blue cheese, sour cream, chopped olives, olive brine, and optional liquor into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to combine all ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Taste the dip and adjust salt or brine if you desire a stronger flavor.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  6. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
