Make this rich, creamy, and sweet cookie butter latte at home in under five minutes. This recipe provides steps for both hot and iced versions, including an optional cookie butter cold foam topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 tablespoon cookie butter (Biscoff spread)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or oat milk recommended)
  • Ice cubes (for iced version)
  • For Cold Foam (Optional): 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 1 tablespoon milk, 1 teaspoon cookie butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare your espresso or strong coffee and set it aside to cool slightly if making an iced latte.
  2. In a small bowl or mug, combine the cookie butter, vanilla extract, and brown sugar (if using). Microwave for 10-15 seconds, or stir until the cookie butter is softened and easily mixable.
  3. Add the prepared espresso/coffee to the cookie butter mixture and stir well until the cookie butter is fully dissolved into the coffee base.
  4. For the Hot Latte: Heat your milk until hot, then froth or steam it until foamy. Pour the frothed milk into the coffee mixture. Top with a small amount of milk foam.
  5. For the Iced Latte: Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the milk over the ice. Gently pour the sweetened coffee mixture over the milk.
  6. Optional Cold Foam: Combine heavy cream, milk, and 1 teaspoon of cookie butter in a small container. Whisk vigorously or use a handheld frother until thick and foamy. Spoon this cold foam over the top of your iced or hot latte.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your cafe style latte.

Notes

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality espresso or freshly brewed strong coffee.
  • If you do not have a milk frother, you can heat the milk on the stove and vigorously whisk it until bubbles form for a simple hot latte.
  • This recipe is easily scaled up to make a batch of cookie butter coffee creamer for quick morning brews.
