Make this easy, sparkling champagne punch for your next celebration. It serves a crowd and features fresh fruit, making it perfect for holiday gatherings or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled Champagne or dry sparkling wine
  • 1 cup white grape juice, chilled
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, chilled
  • 1/4 cup raspberry or strawberry liqueur (optional)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda or ginger ale, chilled (added just before serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Slice the strawberries and the orange. Set aside a few nice slices and berries for garnish.
  2. In a large punch bowl, combine the chilled Champagne, white grape juice, orange juice, and liqueur (if using). Stir gently to mix the base liquids.
  3. Add the sliced strawberries, raspberries, and orange slices to the punch bowl.
  4. Chill the punch base for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the fruit flavors to meld.
  5. Just before guests arrive, gently pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda or ginger ale. Do not stir vigorously, as this will flatten the bubbles.
  6. Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with a reserved piece of fruit.

Notes

  • For an extra festive look, freeze some of the berries ahead of time and use them as ice cubes in the punch bowl.
  • If you need to make this punch ahead of time, mix all ingredients except the sparkling wine and soda. Add those just before serving.
  • To make this a non-alcoholic punch, substitute the Champagne with sparkling white grape juice or club soda.
