Make these easy buffalo chicken sliders on a sheet pan for a quick, crowd-pleasing appetizer perfect for game day or casual gatherings. They feature shredded chicken, spicy buffalo sauce, creamy ranch, and melted cheese on soft rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 count) package slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls work well)
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup Ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and Ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected in one piece if possible. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish or on the sheet pan.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sliders.
  8. Cover the dish or sheet pan loosely with aluminum foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  10. Slice the sliders apart and serve warm immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can mix 1 tablespoon of melted butter with a pinch of poppy seeds and brush this over the tops of the rolls along with the seasoned butter mixture.
  • If you prefer a tangier flavor, substitute Blue Cheese dressing for the Ranch dressing.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for fast assembly when making these quick chicken dinner rolls.
